What does the website quote cover?

Your quote lists the pages, features and content work for the build. It also helps you decide between a project build and rent to own. The payment cards further down this page explain how those routes differ.

Light copy editing is included; full writing and asset production are available as additions. Tell us about extra pages or software connections before the scope is agreed.

Preparing your website content

What you supply for your website build.

Bring the material you already have and identify what still needs to be created. The page plan helps you separate the content you already have from the work to add to the quote.

Your business details

Explain your services and customers.

Use these prompts to prepare the information your pages need.

  • The services you want the new website to explain.
  • The areas you cover and the customers you serve.
  • The questions people ask before they contact your business.
  • The phone number or form visitors should use next.

Your existing material

Gather your website text, logo and photos.

Tell us what is available and what you need help producing.

  • Current page copy, plus any changes to your services.
  • Your logo, brand materials and any photographs you can use.
  • Existing pages you want to keep, replace or remove.
  • Details of your current website and who manages access.
Website build steps

How we plan, build and check your site.

The work starts with the pages and what each needs to explain. Design and development follow that plan, with checks before launch.

01 Page planning

Agree on the pages and their purpose.

We organize the services, customer questions and contact options into a page plan. Tell us which information needs your review before it can go on the site.

02 Page design

Lay out the content and contact options.

We design the page layouts around the content and the next action a visitor can take. That includes where service details, images and contact links sit.

03 Website development

Build the agreed pages and features.

We develop the site on the platform chosen for the project. The work includes checks on phones and larger screens.

04 Search and AI readability

Help search engines and AI tools read your pages.

We use headings, links between pages and structured business details called schema. These help search engines and AI tools interpret the content. Ongoing search engine optimization (SEO) addresses how your pages appear in unpaid search results. This setup does not promise search rankings or recommendations in AI answers.

05 Website measurement

Track visits and inquiries.

We set up Google Analytics for website activity and Search Console for Google search data. Inquiry tracking records contact actions. On its own, it cannot show the value of a sale.

06 Checks and launch

Check loading, usability and launch readiness.

We check the site across devices and review accessibility. We also set targets for loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability, measured through Core Web Vitals. These are checks and targets, not a claim that every page passes.

Payment and ownership

Two ways to pay for your website.

Choose a project build to own outright, or spread the cost through rent to own. Hosting and maintenance are included with the monthly route.

Monthly payments
Rent to Own
Quoted for you

Spread the cost monthly over 6 or 12 months.

  • Page planning, design, development and technical search setup
  • Managed hosting, an encrypted visitor connection (SSL), security and updates during the term
  • Own the code, content and assets at the end of the term
Project Build
Quoted for you

Pay for a project build that you own outright.

  • Pages and features defined in your website quote
  • Design, development and checks across devices
  • Technical search setup and links between your pages
  • Website activity and inquiry tracking setup

Additional content, pages and connections to other software are scoped after a short conversation about what you need. For the project route, ask us to specify ongoing hosting and maintenance in the quote.

Planning pages for your services

What should your service pages explain?

Your website needs details a customer can use before making contact. These industry guides can help you decide what information belongs on your pages.

Questions to bring to the page plan

Which services?Which customer questions?Which contact options?

Before discussing a rebuild, use our free AI visibility checker to see what ChatGPT says about your business. Treat the result as an initial observation, not a test of your website design.

The website we built for Contractors Insured.

Contractors Insured launched a new website in April 2026.

What we delivered: We built 184 pages that answer the questions contractors ask.

In August alone, the brokerage counted 33 inquiries.

This project combined website, content and visibility work. The study does not attribute every inquiry to the website or to AI. It does not establish design alone as the cause. It also does not establish an increase in the conversion rate or show that the work paid for itself.

FAQ

Website questions.

What work is included in a website build?
The build covers page planning, design, development, technical search setup, analytics and launch checks. We define the pages and features in your quote. Extra pages, full copywriting and connections to other software need their own scope.
How long will my website build take?
The build timeline is 2 to 4 weeks. Scope, content readiness and your approvals affect the schedule. We discuss those dependencies when planning the work with you.
Can I choose WordPress or Webflow?
We offer website builds on both WordPress and Webflow. We also offer a headless build: a separate content system connected to a custom website. The choice depends on your pages, editing needs and software connections.
Do I need to write all the website content?
We include light editing of the copy you provide. Full copywriting, brand messaging and image or other asset production can be added to the scope. Flag missing content while we plan the pages together.
What happens to my old pages during a rebuild?
For a migration, we map existing content to the new pages. We set redirects, which send visitors from old addresses to their replacements. We preserve page titles and descriptions, and check whether search engines can index the pages. These precautions do not guarantee that your rankings will stay unchanged.
How much will you quote for my website?
Your pages, content needs and features determine the proposed scope and fee. We set both out in writing after a short conversation about what you need. You can choose a project build or spread the cost through rent to own.
What do I own when rent to own ends?
You own the code, content and assets at the end of the term. Rent to own spreads the cost monthly over 6 or 12 months. Managed hosting, SSL, security and updates are included during the term. Discuss continued hosting and maintenance before the term ends.
Who handles the website after launch?
Launch support is part of the build work we offer. Rent to own includes hosting and maintenance during its term. For a project build, ask us to specify any ongoing hosting, maintenance or page changes in the quote. Further optimization is available after launch.
